Mr. Tan Wee Khang

Wee Khang brings over 16 years of research and practical experience in the engineering industry. Upon earning his postgraduate degree from the University of Birmingham, U.K. in 2008, he spent more than four years participating in postgraduate research industrial programs, focusing on automation and material handling systems.
In addition to his academic research, he has gained extensive hands-on experience in automotive, semiconductor, automation, and design of mechanical and vision-aided medical systems. His career has taken him across the U.K., Japan, and Singapore, where he has collaborated on joint projects with numerous multinational corporations in automation, mechanical engineering, and semiconductor technologies.
In 2019, driven by his vision of creating innovative complete solutions in Material Handling, Storage Systems, Packaging Solutions, and AOI and Embedded Machine Inspection for semiconductor, automation, automotive, and medical fields, Wee Khang founded Embross Snail Enterprise. His goal was to develop patented material handling and storage systems integrated with vision-assisted technology. Building on this momentum, Wee Khang established GMLTech Equipment Sdn. Bhd. in 2024 to further his mission of providing complete automation solutions across multiple industries.
Today, GMLTech Equipment stands at the forefront of designing and manufacturing cutting-edge Material Handling, Storage Systems, Packaging Solutions, and AOI and Embedded Machine Inspection systems for Automation, Semiconductor, and Medical industries.
